Success Story
The goal that Alliax and R&A set
when they decided to establish a work
relationship, was to “Develop
Managers Section Leaders as Six Sigma
Champions to allow them define and
select projects.” As a result,
there would be a first generation
of trained Six Sigma Green Belts to
develop 14 improvement projects using
DMAIC methodology.”
The methodology
used to achieve the goal above described
was:
Implementation of Six Sigma projects:
1.
18 Managers were trained as Champions,
who evaluated and selected the following
projects:

Reduce complaints regarding
the traveling service, received through
the Help Desk.
•
Reduce the number of errors
in indirect materials purchase orders
negotiated by Alliax for Nemak.
•
Increase and control on time
deliveries of materials and spare
parts from Alliax suppliers to Nemak.
•
Keep the Alliax’s income
level, preventing losing clients of
the strategic purchasing service.
•
Increase evaluation scorecard
for the Strategic Purchasing service
to Sigma Alimentos.
•
Reduce the number of errors
in Nemak’s SRM electronic transactions.
•
Reduce the time to solve the
operation problems for the SRM reported
by Sigma Alimentos.
•
Reduce the number of errors
in Payroll processing for Alestra.
•
Decrease the number of errors
in IMSS calculation processing for
Alestra.
•
Disminuir la antigüedad
